More Obama on MTP

Honestly, with due respect to Matt Yglesias and Atrios, the real problem here is that Obama answers Russerts question about his past comments on the war by suggesting that in a previous MTP appearance he hadn't been forthright. He blames it on Kerry being the nominee, but it's an odd first response - and besides had he really remembered it that well, perhaps he might have noticed Russert's quote clipping.
